This complete hydroponic cultivation system consists of the following components:
- Meteor hydroponic floating trays
- Visser/tray filling sowing installation including stacking and destacking unit
- Roopack Harvesting machine
The hydroponic floating trays are unstacked from the pallet by the tray destacking unit. This tray destacking unit takes a tray and places it on the conveyor belt, which transports the tray to the tray filler. This unit fills the trays with soil. The trays are transported under the sower, which uses vacuum to collect the seeds and sow them in the right place. The filled trays are transported under the watering unit, where the trays are sprayed by means of 5 nozzles. After watering, the trays are stacked on the pallet by the tray stacking unit.
Employees place the filled trays in the water basins, where the trays float until the products are fully grown.
When the products are fully grown, they are removed from the water basins and transported to the harvesting machine where the product gets cut and processed in boxes.
The trays can then optionally be transported to a Tray washing machine
