The Bio Bull is a compact shredder that is used for shredding common crops in the horticulture, such as tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumbers, etc.. This machine operates in large greenhouses as well in small greenhouses.
Benefits of the Bio Bull compared to other compact shredders:
- The infeed width of the BioBull is 60 centimeters. This is 20 centimeter larger than other shredders
- The output of the shredded product is done by a conveyor belt. This is more reliable than a blow-out pipe.
- The BioBull must be operated with a remote control. This ensures safe operation.
- In contrast to other shredders, the engine and the intake are fully protected.
Operation of the machine:
The Bio Bull is a compact shredder that is used for shredding common crops in the horticulture, such as: tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumbers, etc..
This machine operates in large greenhouses as well as in small greenhouses.
The Bio Bull operates with ground cloths. These ground cloths are 130 cm wide and the length on request of the client. The crops will be dropped on the ground cloth.
After the ground cloth is attached to the shaft on the Bio Bull, the Bio Bull pulls the ground cloth towards the shredder.
The crop will go in the shredder and simultaneously the ground cloth will be rolled up again on the shaft.
The crop ends up in the shredder, from there the shredded crop waste will land on the discharge conveyor belt, which is mounted on top of the Bio Bull. This conveyor belt can eject the shredded crop waste on both sides of the Bio Bull; front and rear.
A tilting container collects the shredded crop waste. When the waste container is full, it can be driven out of the greenhouse and discharged by a fork-lift truck into a larger waste container.
Stage 3 and stage 5 engines
This crop shredder is available with a stage 3 and a stage 5 motor. Stage 5 engines are equipped with an AdBlue system, which makes the emissions a lot cleaner! These engines are mandatory in Europe, UK, North America, Japan and Australia
Training and capacity:
A 3 to 4 person team of the client can be instructed on-site of the greenhouse by the Hortimat installation team. After completly instructed, this operating team is able to achieve a capacity of approximately 3500 m² to even 8,000 m² per hour (depending on the circumstances)for this Bio bull shredder.
A considerable increase in efficiency and working speed can be obtained by transporting the shredded crop with the Bio Bull buffer (art.23153) and a hydraulic tipping container (art.21765). This ensures a significant increase in efficiency and working speed.
CE and safety:
The Bio Bull is built, in compliance with all mandatory safety/security standards and will be provided with CE markings displayed on the machine. The BIO BULL shredder operates by means of a remote control unit. This ensures additional safety for the operator of the Bio Bull shredder.
