This concerns a complete cucumber unloading and sorting installation
The installation consists of the following parts.
- Koat harvesting-unloading-loading system
- Aweta sorting machine GS12
How it works:
The full harvesting containers are placed in the harvesting-unloading-loading system by harvesting trolley’s by an induction system. The unloading system picks up the full containers by means of an unloading crane and places them on the discharge conveyors. These discharge conveyors transports the containers to the right place. After that, the container will be emptied automatically.
When the container is empty, the harvesting-container-reposition crane picks up the container and places it on an empty harvesting trolley.
The products are transported to the sorting machine.
The sorting machine includes a pre selecting belt with elevator belt
which ensures the supply of the products to the sorting machine. The products are fed into the sorting machine one by one.
The cups feed the products under a camera for size sorting and the cups pass over load sensors for weight sorting.
after which the computer determines which exit the products are taken to. The products end up on the turntable from the exits.
