Operation:
The floating trays are automatically or manually fed into the harvesting machine. The floating trays are then transported to the cutting unit. Here the crop is cut loose from the trays and lifted directly using the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt ensures that the cut crop can be checked and then transported to the discharge conveyor, where an employee processes the crop in crates. By adjusting the height of the conveyor belt, it is possible to transport the floating trays under the cutting unit. After the floating trays with the crop have been transported under the cutting unit, the crop can be removed from the tray manually by the employees. The processed trays are, for example, conveyed to a tray washer.
