This installation consists of the following parts:
- Tray destacker
- Tray filling machine
- Seeding machine
- Spreading/watering line
- Discharge roller track
- Tray stacker
How it works:
The installation starts with the tray destacker. The empty trays are placed on the conveyor belt by means of a gripper arm. These empty trays are then conveyed to the tray filling machine. The soil is spread over the trays supplied from the tray destacker via the ground wheel of the tray filling machine. The filled trays will be transported to the seeding machine. After that the trays will be transported under the seeder. The seeds are absorbed and sown in the right place through a vacuum effect. After sowing the trays, they are filled by the spreader. Now the filled trays will be transported to the tray watering unit where the trays will be sprayed from above with the 5 nozzles. After the trays have been sprayed, they are transported to the discharge roller conveyor.
