Aweta KG 3-16 refurbishment project for a customer in Australia

For a customer in Australia, Hortimat has fully refurbished an Aweta KG 3-16 grading machine and prepared it for a second life.

The machine has been thoroughly cleaned and repainted in its original factory colors. In addition, various vital components have been replaced, including the discharge belts, sprockets, chains, bearings, and bearing housings. New discharge tables have also been manufactured according to the original design.

The bunker belt and infeed conveyor have also been fully refurbished, ensuring the feeding system operates optimally once again.

For transport, the machine has been modified so it can be shipped in parts within a container. Naturally, the installation has been tested with the customer’s product, making it ready for immediate use on site.
